our first 3 way rubber match
the game started quick. i couldnt think straight because i had been wearing the top hat so long that i was in another world. the game was the most even as far as starts were concerned. everyone getting a bit of everything. after the first round of deals the imancipator was left with the trains, and the slums. wheels had the greens and the monocle had PP/BW and the reds. after a few hotel stays in the slums the imancipator ran to a commanding lead. a lead that would not be revoked. the monocle then hitWheels' pennsylvania with a couple houses and when all was said - the monocle was left with $1. with everything mortgaged and only $1 it was only a matter of time for the monocle. on his next roll he loses in the panziest way possible... the $15 poor tax... so all his properties were auctioned through the bank and mike bought it all but one red. after that it was just a matter of time until Wheels slowly bled his way out and it all ended when jason landed on Connecticut and was charged $600. yuk. jason survives day 1 of recorded monopoly madness without writing a blog.

Game3
Well Well Well this is starting to be a bad trend. Jason "Wheeling and Dealing" Azrici started off on fire, it was unbelievable, he got a pure monopoly on Park Place and Board Walk, and then bought up most of the board. It seemed as thought this would be one of the quickest games of all time. Then Alex "The Monocle" made some great trades. He gave Mike "The Emancipator" a yellow for a train that gave The Monocle a train monopoly. This is one of the nominees for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance. The Emancipator then landed on Marvin Gardens and hit his monopoly, building up his housing market. It looked as though the tides were shifting in his direction, consistently in jail during the dangerous part of the game. Jason was on a slide down and it seemed that he was done. Wheel and Deal then traded an orange for Connecticut and he would not pay for the oranges until it was heads up. This is another nominee for the game changing performance. As soon as that happened the Monocle built houses on Orange when The Emancipator was in Jail. Mike then rolled an 8 and had to demolish his houses, the very next roll Wheels landed on Marvin Gardens that would of launched Mike into a huge lead. Unfortunately for Mike that did not happen. From then on Jason landed on the railroads nearly every other roll spending around $1600 in trains. An amount never heard of until this game. When it all came down to it Alex went from the shittier to the penthouse. Tennessee claimed both players with hotels.

Game 2
Well the reigning champion of Monopoly Madness has been knocked out first. Mike jumped out early to a great start. Forming a pure monopoly on the reds and light purple, putting houses on the reds only to be knocked out early by some bad luck. Early in the game we saw a huge bidding war between Jason and Alex, Park Place went for an unprecedented $800, more than double its value. Alex is staying in the game on a hope and a prayer with the oranges. As I type this the game my just be over, Alex just landed on a green and had to take down 8 houses and that should do it. Later in the game Jason landed on Boardwalk, already bought Park Place for 800 placed it up for auction. Alex had $51 so Jason started the bidding at $52 and was able to purchase it for that cheap price. The game was kept around as Alex had some good rolls to get around Jason's property and Jason landing on some of his small property. Quote of the game by Jason talking about Alex "You can't knock him out he is like a cockroach". Alex is playing like the John McClain of the monopoly family, he just wont die. Until he just landed on 2 houses on Pennsylvania and that will do it. Jason "Wheeling and Dealing" Azicri takes down Alex the Monocle and Mike the Emancipator in this epic game 2 of the Monopoly Madness lifetime tournament.

Game 1
The first game for the official top hat....
jason, mike, alex
alex and jason pulled out to a quick lead by locking out the board by purchasing one of each property. Jason at one point in the game decided for no reason to let mike have a chance to win by giving mike a monopoly on the red properties. he did this as an insurance move to help survive the possibility of landing on PP/BW both with 2 houses. this then quickly backfired on jason because mike had enough money to build significant properties on the red. and when alex landed on big housed reds 2 times mike rapidly pushed the odds into his favor and the game was a race to see who would land on the other persons property first. jason rolls a 6 and hits indiana for $875 and the game was written from then.
