Are you ready?

No...you are not. Jason here writing the blog. "But how can Jason be writing the blog since he clearly didn't lose?" Yes, I'm sorry distinguished Monopoly Blog readers as the odds have clearly been defied. Jason, as he usually does, liked to travel in style. Buying up the Reading, Pennsylvania, and B&O Railroad. After some time, Jason and Alex swapped Red and Purple monopolies. Jason going regal and Alex took Republican row. Then Stupid Mike did some stuff. Several brilliant Jason moves later the game was in the balance. In a series of rolls that proved Thomas Edison, Stephen Hawkens, and God wrong. Here's the setup:

Jason sits on North Carolina Avenue. Mike owns the blues with only a house on Park Place. Jason is ready to load up on houses on his purple. Even if he lands on the Stupid one, he'll be fine. First, the Master Tactician lands on Park Place (double the pay due to a Monopoly for $70). That's okay, as long as I don't roll a double 1 everything should be fine. A double one later, Jason dishes out $200 to Mike's Boardwalk. Another roll and no danger. Just need to get my Go money and roll. As long as I don't roll a 4. After Jason rolled a 4 and lost his "Go" money there still was a chance. In fact, a good chance. He was full 14 spaces away from Alex's multiple houses on Red. That is unless he rolls a double 6 and landed on Free Parking. As long as I don't roll a...before that sentence could be finished a three had been rolled.

Mike did something stupid (as usual) and Alex continues his courtship with Lady Luck.
